Consistent, strong safety performance is driven by Enerflex’s management team and employees within the Company. The Company focuses on ensuring that we have a continuously improving safety culture. Enerflex is demonstrably achieving improved safety performance over successive years. In 2017 the Company’s total recordable injury rate (“TRIR”), one of the key measures of safety performance that provides comparability to other companies, was 0.84.
Each region has a local HSE team and leadership which oversee the activities, programs and initiatives within that region. Together with the senior management team they provide strategic HSE direction, guidance for regional management, project performance reviews and the approvals for these initiatives. The Enerflex Executive Management Team actively participates in the HSE programs by providing direction and reviewing the performance of the HSE management systems. This Management team along with the HSE teams constantly reviews all recordable injuries, near misses, leading and lagging indicators and discusses continual improvements for the HSE program.
